According to the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and separate decisions of the Verkhovna Rada, the Verkhovna Rada entrusted the Interim Special Commission to elaborate bills and other draft acts provisions of which pertain to:  

constitutional and legal status of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;

delegation of authority to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;

approval of the Constitution of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and amendments to it;

legal regime of property that belongs to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;

financial independency of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;

and other issues by the decision of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Quantitative composition of the Interim Special Commission equals to 15 people’s deputies.

Deich Borys Davydovych (faction of the Party of Regions) is elected the Chairman of the Interim Special Commission. Mochkov Oleksandr Borysovych (faction of the Political Party UDAR of Vitaliy Klychko) is elected the Deputy Chairman of the Commission.

Term of tenure of the Interim Special Commission is equal to the term of tenure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation.  

It is planned to grant a hearing to the Report of the Interim Special Commission on the work done during the plenary meeting and not later than six month before the end of the term of tenure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the seventh convocation.

The respective draft resolution was registered under No. 2574.
